JOB DETAILS

As a Consumables Management Specialist
, you will be a vital point of contact for both customers and internal teams, managing the full lifecycle of consumable supplies through Apogee’s Remote Management Application (ARMA). Every day will bring a mix of customer interaction, technical troubleshooting, and process optimisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of consumable supply processes – from alerts to fulfilment and exception handling.
  • Responding to customer queries via phone, email, and client portals, ensuring exceptional service every time.
  • Investigating and resolving issues with shipments or system alerts, taking ownership until resolution.
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apogee’s ARMA system – helping customers optimise performance and uptime.
  • Supporting data accuracy and service continuity through meticulous record management and ticket handling.
  • Collaborating across teams, offering education and guidance on best practices to ensure smooth system operation.

Location:

Allington, Maidstone during your 6 month training period. After 6 months there is flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five‑day working week.

After training you will worka rolling shift pattern either doing 8.00-5.00, 8:30-5:30 or 9.00-6.00.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone with a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for problem‑solving. You will thrive in a busy, customer‑focused environment and enjoy blending technology with service excellence.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confident across phone, Teams, and email.
  • Previous Expereince within a busy call centre/Office based customer services role is essential
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse data and manage multiple priorities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • A calm, logical approach to troubleshooting and decision‑making.
  • A team‑first attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
  • A willingness to learn new systems and share knowledge with others.
  • Basic networking knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
  • We value candidates with AI literacy – individuals who are curious about technology, comfortable exploring automation, and eager to contribute to a modern, forward‑thinking business.
