Become a pivotal force in securing software as a Senior Product Security Engineer III at Git Hub, where you'll focus on building and advancing security tooling and automation remotely.

This hands-on engineering role demands excellence in designing systems that uphold Git Hub’s security protocols. As part of the Product Security Engineering team, you'll be involved with static analysis, security controls, and supply chain defense initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to reducing vulnerabilities and implementing scalable security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and operate security tooling and automation systems

• Focus on scalable approaches to prevent vulnerabilities

• Design agentic security tools for risk assessment

• Collaborate with teams to define security needs and features

• Monitor key security metrics for performance insights

Requirements:

• 5+ years in security analysis or engineering domains

• Experience in implementing security solutions

• Coding proficiency in Ruby, Go, or Python

• Knowledge of static analysis and security concepts

• Familiarity with Git Hub tools and security practices
