About the Job you are considering:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler with strong expertise in the Banking and Financial Services domain to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models that support regulatory reporting, risk management, customer analytics, payments, lending, treasury, and core banking initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of banking data, data governance, and modern data platforms.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for banking applications.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data models.
- Define and enforce enterprise data standards, metadata, and naming conventions.
- Perform impact analysis for data model and schema changes.
- Develop data models supporting Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Payments, Treasury, and Risk domains.
- Create and maintain source-to-target mappings and data lineage documentation.
- Optimize data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensure data models comply with banking regulations including Basel, BCBS 239, and IFRS 9.
- Support data governance, data quality, and master data initiatives.
- Work closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Skills
