Dev Ops Engineer

About the Job you are considering:

Join Capgemini's Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) practice, where we Consult with Purpose, Continuously Evolve, and Architect Tomorrow. We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer with experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and application delivery platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker), Kubernetes orchestration, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP), and Dev Sec Ops  practices within regulated environments such as banking and financial services.


Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Cloud Formation.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Azure Monitor.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and release management.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Your Skills:

  • Prime Responsibilities Lead and mentor the team in implementing and optimizing Kubernetes for application orchestration ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Design build and maintain robust CICD pipelines using tools like Git Lab preferred or Jenkins to streamline development and deployment workflows
  • Deploy and manage cloud environments IBM Cloud preferred and utilize infrastructure as code IaC technologies like Terraform for efficient resource provisioning
  • Develop automation scripts using Linux Shell and Python to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
    Secondary Skills
  • Administer configure and maintain Web Sphere Application Server for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate on build and release processes for mobile applications Android iOS ensuring seamless deployment and updates
