Part of the Tech & Services (T&S) department at Softcat, the Services Governance & Portfolio team is a dynamic group of people who influence, define, monitor and develop Softcat's service portfolio and our ability to deliver it effectively.

This role supports the Services Improvement team by building the core reporting, policy, and communication infrastructure that underpins Continuous Improvement across Tech & Services.
The focus is on creating clear visibility, structured guidance, and practical tools that enable teams to understand, engage with, and deliver improvement activity aligned to strategy. This is a hands-on delivery role, not a people management position. As the Services Imrpovement Executive, you'll be responsible for:
Work with Data & Reporting teams to build and maintain CI reporting (activity, benefits, themes)
Turn data into clear narratives that demonstrate value and drive engagement Draft and refine CI policy, guidance and SOPs Create slide decks, updates and messaging for stakeholders Support the rollout of CI comms plans and materials across T&S Help stand up core CI assets: Improvement log / tracking tools Request intake processes Templates and playbooks Work across Service Development, Risk, Quality, Change, Data & Reporting We'd love you to have:
Strong MS Office skills (Word and PowerPoint essential) An understanding of / or experience working within an improvement based role or industry
Understanding of Jira platform desirable
