Chapter Lead Solution Architect

At ING Hubs Türkiye, we're looking for a Solution Architect Chapter Lead who combines strong architectural thinking with leadership capabilities. Someone who enjoys shaping technology strategy, designing scalable solutions, mentoring engineers, and building high‑performing teams that deliver meaningful impact across ING's international ecosystem.

This is more than an architecture role. You'll define solution directions, guide engineering teams through complex transformation initiatives, contribute to cloud and modernization programs, and help grow a chapter of talented engineers through coaching, mentoring, and capability development. The decisions you make won't only influence a single platform—they will help shape technology solutions used across ING's global banking network.

As a Solution Architect Chapter Lead, you will play a dual role combining Solution Architecture leadership with People Leadership responsibilities. You will work closely with Product Owners, Domain Architects, Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions. At the same time, you will lead a chapter of engineers, helping them grow professionally, strengthen engineering capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.

You will contribute to large‑scale transformation initiatives, integration architectures, API ecosystems, cloud adoption programs, and modernization efforts while ensuring teams remain aligned with ING's architectural principles and engineering standards.

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles
• Proven experience leading technical teams in complex environments
• Experience working as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar role
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technology domains
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Experience working in Agile organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above)
