Junior Warranty Support & Risk Prevention

Risk Prevention Specialist is responsible for the overall handling Dealer warranty and service departments training, Audit counseling, queries related to ESB and Warranty, reviewing claims submitted by different OEM dealerships after reviewing the paperwork supplied during, before or after an audit of an dealership. Claims are received through a variety of sources (i.e. system, reports generated by the OEM, manual reviews, etc.).

In addition, this position is expected to review check requests submitted in Ford system to ensure accuracy of entry of the claims submitted to the OEM. The RP Specialist will be responsible for reviewing claims data for multiple OEM systems service advisors and dealer audit risk prevention to elevate the chargeback burden on the dealerships as well as training and coaching the RP Specialist will travel to the dealer locations for audits and training as per the requests from Warranty, ESB, or the dealership.

  • Review claims received in assigned sort groups via OEM's claim payment system to determine if claim meets policy guidelines using the paperwork supplied by the dealership.
  • Analyze dealer information to determine the claims audit targets.
    • Using multiple OEM systems, the RP Specialist will analyze claims data and look for anomalies.
    • Based on this data, the RP Specialist will set a monthly calendar of audit or training targets.
  • Analyze various claims data to determine if claims are valid. Communicate any potential claim charge backs to dealer-based OEM business rules.
  • Provide backup support to Warranty specialist operations when needed
  • Identify process improvements and best practices as needed
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management this is not limited to ad hoc reporting tasks or dealers inquiries.
Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent required. Some college coursework desired.
Experience
  • Previous ESP or Warranty claims program knowledge is desired
  • Mechanical automotive background required
  • Familiarity with OASIS and ACESII is desired, but not required
