Senior UX Designer Public Sector Remote

Lead human-centered design as a Senior Service & UX Designer for a public-sector digital modernization project. This primarily remote role involves collaboration in Edmonton for key meetings.

This contract position focuses on enhancing digital services through user research, service design, and accessibility. You will engage with a cross-functional team and apply your extensive experience to ensure solutions meet user needs and policy requirements.

Experience with Agile delivery and complex enterprise UX/UI design is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design discovery and user research initiatives

• Develop service blueprints and wireframes for enterprise solutions

• Collaborate with stakeholders for usability testing and feedback

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards like WCAG 2.2

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions throughout the process

Requirements:

• 10+ years of UX, UI, and Service Design experience

• 5+ years in digital transformation for public sector

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field

• Proficiency in Figma and Agile tools for collaboration

• Ability to provide three professional references
