IFS Technical Specialist (India)

Location: Sabarmati

We are looking for an experienced  IFS Technical Specialist  to join a well-established organisation and take ownership of the technical development, integration, configuration, and ongoing support of its  IFS Applications ERP environment .

Work Setup

Working Hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM IST
Work Arrangement:  Initially  work from office , with the opportunity to  transition to working from home  eventually. (Ahmedabad)

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop extensions, reports, integrations, and technical solutions within  IFS Applications .
Build and maintain integrations between IFS and third-party systems using  IFS Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms .
Develop and maintain  PL/SQL procedures  and IFS-specific components using  IFS Developer Studio and IFS Aurena .
Create and maintain reports and dashboards using  IFS Business Reporter, Report Designer, IFS Lobbies, and Power BI .
Support IFS configuration across functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Maintenance/MRO, CRM, and HCM.
Participate across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, data migration, deployment, and go-live support.
Provide  Level 2/3 technical support , troubleshoot incidents, and resolve complex ERP issues.
Maintain technical specifications, data dictionaries, support documentation, and runbooks.
Translate business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
Liaise with IFS product support and third-party vendors on complex technical issues.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, processes, and ERP efficiency.

Must Haves
3-5+ years of hands-on technical experience with IFS Applications , ideally IFS Cloud, Apps 9, and/or Apps 10.
Strong  PL/SQL and Oracle Database  experience.
Hands-on experience with  IFS Developer Studio .

Experience with  IFS Aurena  and its customisation framework.
Experience developing and maintaining integrations using  IFS Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, or equivalent middleware .
Strong understanding of at least  two IFS functional domains , such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, CRM, HCM, or Maintenance/MRO.
Experience providing  Level 2/3 technical support  within an IFS/ERP environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to produce clear and professional technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Haves
IFS certification  in one or more modules.

Experience with  IFS Cloud , including SaaS or Private Cloud deployments.

Experience with  Azure Dev Ops, Git, CI/CD , or similar tooling.

Experience with  IFS Business Reporter, Report Designer, and IFS Lobbies .
Exposure to  Power BI, SSRS , or other reporting platforms integrated with IFS.
Understanding of  ISO 27001  requirements and information security best practices.

Experience with ERP data migration, including mapping, cleansing, loading, and reconciliation.
Bachelor's degree in  Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related discipline.
