Security Risk Management Specialist - Remote

Elevate your career as a Security Risk Management Specialist II with Affirm, fully remote across Canada. You will enhance third-party risk management through automation, collaboration, and comprehensive security assessments.

In this role, you will leverage 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, and Automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, and Compliance to streamline Affirm's Third Party Risk Management program. Your expertise in Python and agentic coding tools will help transition manual processes into scalable, efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough third-party security assessments and document findings

• Develop automation to improve GRC workflow efficiency

• Configure integrations across various security and vendor management platforms

• Partner with Procurement and Legal for risk assessment follow-ups

• Create dashboards and reporting for enhanced risk visibility

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Information Security or Risk Management

• Proficient in Python and tooling such as Cursor, Claude

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure environments

• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2 standards

• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
