Mega Group Trade Holding is an international technical wholesaler specializing in water solutions that improve people’s lives. We take pride in addressing global water challenges and supporting sectors such as Irrigation, Livestock, Swimming pools, Building services, and industry.

As part of Mega Group, our IT department supports an international organization with 10+ locations across Europe. We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead IT Operations who can bring structure, reliability, technical direction, and people leadership to our growing IT environment. Being a Team Lead IT Operations at Mega Group means leading the day-to-day IT operation while keeping a clear architectural overview of our technology landscape.

You coach and develop IT professionals, ensure reliable IT services, guide improvements across infrastructure, cloud, applications, security, and end-user computing, and support the CIO in translating IT strategy into practical execution.

• Lead, coach, and develop IT professionals while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT operations across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud environments, and end-user computing.

• Manage escalations and support timely resolution of critical incidents, keeping internal stakeholders well informed.

• Maintain a holistic view of the IT landscape and help ensure technical solutions align with enterprise architecture principles.

• Support the CIO in defining and executing the IT roadmap, balancing daily operational needs with long-term strategic objectives.

• Lead and contribute to IT projects, transformation initiatives, technology improvements, and successful adoption of new processes.

• Strengthen cybersecurity, governance, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.

• Manage priorities, vendors, resources, and stakeholder expectations in a pragmatic and professional way.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Management, or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical role.

• Experience managing IT operations in a medium-sized or international organization.

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra , and Defender.

• Good understanding of VMware, infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and system integration.

• Awareness of cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, IT governance, and business continuity principles.

• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop technical professionals.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

• A practical, hands-on mindset combined with strategic thinking and sound prioritization skills.

• Fluent communication skills in English. If you speak Dutch as well, its a great plus!
