Remote AWS Security Consultant

Position: Remote AWS Security Consultant / Contract
Location: Warwickshire

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Security Engineer to support a high-priority programme of cloud security remediation and service improvement.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong AWS security knowledge, practical AWS Security Hub experience and expert-level Terraform capability.

Key responsibilities

* Review and remediate security findings across AWS.

* Configure and improve AWS Security Hub.

* Implement security improvements through Terraform.

* Support service recovery and controlled reinstatement activities.

* Assist with secret and credential rotation.

* Review and cleanse repositories where required.

* Strengthen AWS security controls and prevent recurring issues.

* Work with internal teams and relevant external parties.

* Document completed remediation and technical changes.

Essential experience

* Strong hands-on AWS engineering and security experience.

* Practical AWS Security Hub expertise.

* Expert Terraform and infrastructure-as-code capability.

* Experience implementing security remediation in live environments.

* Strong knowledge of AWS identity, access and security controls.

* Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Experience supporting service recovery, secrets management or repository security would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an engineer capable of quickly understanding an AWS environment and implementing secure, sustainable improvements through Terraform
