Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a SAP LSMW with ABAP Data Migration specialist at Zora Technology Inc. The role involves designing, developing, and executing data migration strategies using SAP LSMW and ABAP, including data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation activities. The specialist will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to analyze existing business processes, understand data requirements, and ensure accurate migration of master and transactional data.
Day-to-day responsibilities include creating migration templates, mapping legacy data to SAP structures, performing test cycles, resolving data issues, and documenting procedures and migration outcomes. The role also requires participation in project meetings, providing migration status updates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support go-live and post-migration stabilization.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization within SAP environments.
Proven Analytical Skills for data profiling, validation, and issue resolution during migration.
Experience in Consulting roles, working directly with business and technical stakeholders on SAP projects.
Expertise in Master Data structures, governance, and migration practices within SAP.
Advanced proficiency with SAP LSMW and ABAP for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Experience with data migration methodologies, testing cycles, and cutover planning.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setup, and collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementation or upgrade projects is highly beneficial.
