About the Job:
We are looking to immediately hire an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Lead with strong technical expertise, consultative selling skills, and a passion for helping organizations address complex cybersecurity challenges.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading U.S. Cybersecurity OEM, partnering with customers to drive successful outcomes.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will collaborate closely with sales, channel partners, and delivery teams to discover and qualify opportunities, position cybersecurity solutions, develop solution architectures, deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, prepare technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses, and engage with CISOs, CIOs, security architects, and executive stakeholders throughout the sales lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Work with internal sales teams and channel partners throughout the sales cycle to discover and qualify opportunities, providing solution consulting while providing technical leadership.
Engage with customers to understand their business and cybersecurity requirements, deliver solution presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements.
Design and articulate cybersecurity solutions by preparing technical proposals, solution architectures, and responding to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
Present and position solutions to CISOs, CIOs, security architects, and executive stakeholders, addressing both technical and business objectives.
Collaborate with implementation and support teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to successful project delivery.
Continuously enhance technical expertise by staying current with emerging cybersecurity concepts and industry best practices.
Represent the company at customer engagements, webinars, seminars, workshops, conferences, and other industry events.
Requirements:
4 to 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, Security Consulting, or Customer Success.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity/networking/cloud technologies/enterprise IT infrastructure concepts.
Excellent customer-facing presentation and communication skills.
Experience working with enterprise customers and channel partners, supporting complex sales cycles
Ability to translate business requirements into technical security solutions.
Travel for customer meetings, workshops, and events.
