Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an IT Support Specialist based in Singapore, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day technical support for staff and event operations, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktop computers and other devices. The role involves managing help desk requests, responding to user inquiries, and ensuring minimal downtime for critical event and office systems.
Responsibilities include maintaining IT infrastructure, installing and updating applications, supporting network connectivity, and documenting solutions and procedures. The IT Support Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital integrations used in event management and may assist with IT-related setup at event venues as needed.
- Strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, including responding to tickets and user queries in a timely, service-oriented manner.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Desktop Computers and common office hardware and software.
- Solid foundation in Information Technology, including operating systems, basic networking concepts, and security best practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in hybrid work environments, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities both on-site and remotely.
- Relevant certification or education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft or similar certifications) is advantageous.
- Experience supporting technology for events, sports, or hospitality environments is a plus.
