Data Analyst
Role Description This full-time hybrid role, based in Singapore, combines responsibilities across QA analysis, entry-level data analysis, and junior business analysis. The team member will assist in testing data workflows, validating reports and dashboards, and documenting issues to support continuous improvement of analytical solutions. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and clarifying business requirements, preparing simple data sets, performing basic data checks, and supporting the design of reports that address stakeholder needs.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to test plans, participating in review meetings, and providing clear feedback on data quality and process efficiency. Some work-from-home flexibility is available, with regular onsite collaboration expected.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets, identify patterns, and support decision-making.
- Foundational experience or education in data analytics and statistics to perform basic analysis and validation.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts to assist in structuring data for reporting and analysis.
- Clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to QA activities, including test case execution and defect documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort with spreadsheet tools and basic data visualization/software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Interest in developing a career in QA, data analytics, or business analysis; prior internship or project experience is beneficial.
