This role is hands-on and detail-driven. You will simulate real-world user journeys (customers, vendors, staff), identify usability issues, validate workflows, and ensure the platform performs effectively under live operational conditions.
You are not just testing screens—you are validating end-to-end experiences in a high-traffic, transaction-based system.
Key Responsibilities User Experience Testing Execute end-to-end testing across all user roles: Customers (masqueraders)
Vendors / Section Managers
Admin / Staff (POS & operations)
Validate real-world workflows: Registration → Checkout → Payment → Order confirmation
Deposits, partial payments, and balance flows
Credit applications and order adjustments
Identify friction points, broken flows, or confusing UI patterns
Platform & Functional Testing Account creation and login flows
Order management and status updates
Vendor communication workflows
Orders
Payments
Customer profiles
High-volume checkout periods
Staff-assisted (POS-style) transactions
Validate system behavior under pressure and edge cases
Bug Reporting & Documentation Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
Provide structured feedback , including: Screenshots / screen recordings
Expected vs actual behavior
Severity level (critical, major, minor)
Work closely with developers to validate fixes
UX Improvement Recommendations Suggest UI/UX enhancements based on testing insights
Identify opportunities to improve: Conversion flow
Clarity of messaging
Navigation and usability
Contribute to continuous improvement of platform design
Experience 1–3+ years in: UI/UX testing, QA testing, or product testing
Experience testing: Web applications (required)
E-commerce or transaction-based platforms (strong asset)
Technical Skills Strong understanding of: User flows and usability principles
Cross-browser and cross-device testing
Experience with : Bug tracking tools (Jira, Click Up, Trello, etc.)
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
Core Competencies Exceptional attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to think like different user types
Clear and structured communication
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience with : Woo Commerce / Word Press platforms
Payment systems (Stripe, POS, etc.)
Familiarity with: Carnival / event-based operations
CRM or order management systems
