Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4

HANA Public Cloud Edition Engagement Management Functional Consultant to join their project immediately on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of total experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on SAP configuration and practical S/4

HANA Professional Services work across a full project lifecycle. Fluency in the fit-to-standard methodology is essential should be comfortable leading live demos of standard processes and confident enough to challenge unnecessary deviations. A solid grasp of the project-to-cash cycle is also required, from engagement setup and time capture to WIP management and resource-related billing. Beyond functional knowledge, we value discipline in documentation and a methodical approach to structured testing.

This will be a primarily remote work with minimal travel to the client office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure Engagement Management processes in the public cloud tenant using SAP Fiori self-service configuration (SSCUI); maintain configuration across the landscape.
• Prepare and co-facilitate fit-to-standard workshops demo the standard, capture gaps, log dispositions.
• Author functional design and configuration documentation to a standard that survives handover to run.
• Build and execute unit and string tests; support SIT/UAT, triage defects and turn around fixes.
• Support data migration for engagement master and transactional objects.
• Contribute to the pricing and Finance integration design from the configuration side — field mapping, validation rules, error scenarios.
• Support the training team with configured-system walkthroughs and scenario scripts.

Preferred Experience:

• Public Cloud Edition (SSCUI configuration, not IMG); professional services industry; SAP certification in Professional Services or Project Systems; bilingual (EN/FR).

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
