Position: Lead Consultant – Smart Manufacturing (Auto / Discrete / Gigafactory)

Your Role
Shape smart manufacturing opportunities  by leading plant and leadership workshops, frame problems, define value hypotheses, and translate operational pain points into digital transformation initiatives as part of I4.0 and smart manufacturing advisory.
Own solutioning and proposals  including storyboarding, architecture, scope, estimation, delivery approach, assumptions/risks, and contributions to commercials/SOWs
Advise CXO and plant leadership  by building PoVs, demos, and pragmatic recommendations aligned to business goals, operational priorities, and measurable value outcomes.
Lead multi-workstream delivery across plants and lines , managing vendors and cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT, OT, Data, and business functions.
Drive MES/MOM, digital quality, and IT/OT integration programs , covering requirements, design, implementation, inline/at-line inspections, SPC, nonconformance management, CAPA integration, quality analytics, and integration across MES, ERP, PLM, EAM, QMS, Historian, SCADA/PLC, and IIoT with cybersecurity and edge considerations.

Your Profile
10 to 14 years of experience  in Auto, Discrete Manufacturing, or Gigafactory smart manufacturing transformations, with strong consulting delivery leadership experience.
Strong Industry 4.0 and manufacturing systems expertise , including MES/MOM, ISA-95, edge/IIoT, event-driven integration, manufacturing data modeling, plant connectivity, and IT/OT architecture.
AI enablement experience across manufacturing operations , including building and prioritizing AI use case portfolios across production, quality, maintenance, and logistics, with experience in GenAI copilots and Agentic AI patterns.
Ability to design human-in-the-loop AI solutions  with guardrails for orchestration, automation, auditability, safe execution, data readiness, MLOps/LLMOps, model monitoring, and controlled rollout.
Relevant qualifications and certifications , including a bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, computer science, MBA, or equivalent from a reputed institute. Smart plant maturity certification such as  SIRI  or equivalent is mandatory. Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma, SAFe/Scrum, value stream mapping, plant performance management, and gigafactory processes such as cell/pack, formation, EOL testing, genealogy, traceability, robotics, and vision systems is preferred.
