AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Consultant)

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced AWS Certified Solutions Architects to join our team on a full-time contract or freelance basis. As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will act as a consultant, advising clients on best practices, architectural patterns, and technology choices to meet their specific business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance to clients on AWS services, best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
• Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS environments.
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and operational procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry trends.
• Mentor and guide junior team members where applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Associate certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions on AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Formation, etc.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, best practices, and security principles.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• For freelance roles:
  Ability to dedicate a minimum of [specify number, e.g., 10, 20] free hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience in specific industry domains.
