About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Blockchain Security Analyst to join their dynamic team in George . In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across our blockchain infrastructure and smart contracts. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our decentralized platforms. You'll work closely with development teams to embed security best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle, playing a vital role in maintaining trust and security within the fast-paced crypto and blockchain ecosystem .

• Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts , dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Analyze blockchain transactions and network activity to detect and respond to potential security threats and exploits.
• Develop and implement security frameworks, policies, and best practices for blockchain development and operations.
• Monitor the blockchain ecosystem for emerging threats and vulnerabilities, providing timely intelligence and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified security issues and enhance the overall security posture of our platforms.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings and mitigation strategies.

• Proven experience as a Security Analyst with a strong focus on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies .
• Deep understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow, gas limit issues) and their mitigation techniques.
• Proficiency in analyzing blockchain data using tools like Etherscan, Bsc Scan, or custom scripts.
• Experience with security auditing tools and methodologies relevant to smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles and their application in blockchain security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities for reporting complex security findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
