Cloud Security Engineer

About the Role

• Design, deploy, and manage security solutions for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and automate security controls, monitoring, and alerting within cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud deployments, containerization, and serverless architectures.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud applications and services, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Respond to cloud security incidents, perform investigations, and implement effective countermeasures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security throughout the CI/CD pipeline.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience specializing in cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their native security services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.
• Understanding of container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).
