Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst to join their distributed operations team. This role is critical for optimizing and supporting the digital infrastructure that underpins our manufacturing processes across various sites. You will work remotely, collaborating closely with on-site teams to analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and operational visibility.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, expertise in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related technologies, and excellent remote communication and collaboration skills. You will be instrumental in driving digital transformation within our production environment, ensuring seamless integration and functionality from afar.

• Analyze the performance and effectiveness of existing manufacturing systems , including MES, ERP integrations, and data acquisition systems.
• Identify system inefficiencies, data integrity issues, and opportunities for process automation or enhancement.
• Develop and implement solutions to optimize system workflows, improve data reporting accuracy, and streamline operational processes.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing systems, working with on-site IT and operations staff.
• Document system configurations, user guides, and standard operating procedures for manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for new system implementations or upgrades.

• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on manufacturing environments .
• In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP systems, and industrial automation technologies.
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights.
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in system troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment.
• A relevant degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
