About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and methodical Insurance Business Analyst to join their growing technology and innovation team, working remotely from East London or surrounding areas. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, analyzing requirements, defining system specifications, and supporting the implementation of new insurance platforms and processes. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and driving digital transformation within the company.

You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand challenges and translate them into actionable technical requirements.

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders for insurance systems and processes.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for IT development teams.
• Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories to clearly define solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate that solutions meet requirements.
• Assist in the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, operations, and common IT systems.
• Excellent requirements gathering, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process modeling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
