Agile Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Agile Project Manager to join their distributed team, working in a fully remote capacity. You will be instrumental in guiding software development teams using Agile principles and methodologies to deliver high-quality products efficiently. This role demands a proactive approach to managing sprints, backlogs, and continuous improvement cycles, ensuring seamless collaboration within a virtual environment.

You will champion Agile best practices and facilitate the smooth delivery of innovative solutions, contributing to a culture that values adaptability and rapid iteration.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with product owners and development teams.
• Remove impediments and obstacles hindering the team's progress, ensuring smooth sprint execution.
• Track project progress using Agile metrics and tools, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, promoting Agile values and principles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile processes and practices within the organization.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience managing projects within a fully remote setting, utilizing virtual collaboration tools effectively.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Agile project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is required.
