About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical SEO Analyst to join their growing marketing team in Stellenbosch . This role is essential for enhancing organic search visibility, driving qualified traffic, and optimizing website performance through strategic SEO initiatives. You will conduct in-depth analysis of search trends, website data, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop actionable strategies. We are looking for a technically proficient individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for search engine optimization, ready to contribute to a dynamic team within the picturesque Cape Winelands, embracing a hybrid work model for enhanced flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to inform SEO strategy and content creation.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues impacting search engine rankings and user experience.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, search engine rankings, and other key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including content optimization, link building, and schema markup.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital efforts.
- Stay informed about the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an SEO Analyst or in a similar role focused on organic search growth.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page strategies, and local SEO.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear recommendations.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, aiding in technical SEO assessments.
