About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join their analytical team in Sandton . This role is essential for transforming raw data into actionable business insights that support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and analyses that help stakeholders understand performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau .
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions and data models.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and trends.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support specific business inquiries and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver timely, accurate insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proven experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik View, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
