Lead Cloud Architect - AWS Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Cloud Architect to spearhead their cloud strategy, working in a fully remote capacity. This senior position requires deep expertise in AWS services and a proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure. You will guide a team of engineers, setting technical direction and ensuring the successful adoption of cloud technologies across the organization.

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions on AWS , ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Lead the migration of existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to the AWS cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud-native application design and deployment best practices are followed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and operations teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to drive business value and technical advancement.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture .
• Extensive hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Strong understanding of security principles, networking, and compliance in cloud environments.
