About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Information Security Auditor to join their team. This role is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will conduct comprehensive audits to identify risks and provide recommendations for strengthening the organization's security posture. • Plan and execute information security audits across various systems, applications, and processes.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of security controls against established frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Identify control weaknesses and non-compliance issues, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Develop detailed audit reports and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to track remediation efforts and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices for security auditing.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security auditing, risk assessment, or compliance.
• Knowledge of audit methodologies and common security frameworks.
• Familiarity with IT controls, cybersecurity principles, and data privacy regulations.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are highly desirable.
