About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and analytical Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join their expanding business intelligence team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in South Africa . You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets related to vehicle performance, customer behavior, market trends, and operational efficiency. Your insights will drive strategic decisions and improve product development, marketing efforts, and overall business performance.

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various automotive sources, including vehicle telematics, sales records, and market research.
• Develop and implement data analysis models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize product features, marketing campaigns, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define data requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to privacy regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst , with a focus on the automotive industry or a related sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python (Pandas, Num Py), R, SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for effectively conveying insights in a remote setting .
