Remote HVAC Systems Analyst & Support Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote HVAC Systems Analyst & Support Specialist to join their team, supporting clients and field technicians across South Africa. This role focuses on remote diagnostics, system analysis, and providing expert technical guidance to resolve complex HVAC issues without requiring on-site presence. You will leverage your deep understanding of HVAC systems and remote monitoring tools to troubleshoot problems, optimize performance, and ensure the efficiency of installations managed by field teams.

This is a crucial position within the Installation & Maintenance division, enabling proactive support and problem resolution for a geographically diverse client base, operating entirely from a remote setup.

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC systems using diagnostic software and client-provided data.
• Analyze system performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and best practice manuals for remote support.
• Communicate effectively with field technicians, offering clear instructions and solutions to complex installation and maintenance challenges.
• Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on system design and performance issues identified remotely.
• Manage incoming support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution within defined service level agreements.

• Extensive experience in HVAC system analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, ideally with remote support capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of various HVAC components, control systems, and common failure modes.
• Proficiency with remote diagnostic tools, monitoring software, and ticketing systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a fully remote work environment.
