UX​/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and user-centric UX/UI Designer to join their innovative product team, working remotely. You will be responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences for their digital products. This role involves translating user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create seamless user journeys and drive product adoption, contributing to cutting-edge digital solutions from anywhere, serving clients and users globally, including those in the Paarl area.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather insights.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analytics.
• Present design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
