DevSecOps Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to join their innovative, fully remote team. This role is integral to embedding security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from code inception to deployment and operations. You will be responsible for implementing and automating security measures, ensuring that security is a core component of our Dev Ops processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to drive security improvements, collaborate with development and operations teams, and build secure, scalable applications in a truly distributed environment.

• Integrate security controls and tools into the CI/CD pipeline to enable automated security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST).
• Develop and maintain secure infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement and manage container security solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes security).
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in code and applications.
• Monitor application and infrastructure security in production environments and respond to security incidents.
• Promote a security-first culture and provide guidance on secure coding practices and Dev Sec Ops  principles.
• Manage secrets and sensitive data securely throughout the development and deployment process.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops  roles, with a strong focus on security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops) and security scanning tools.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a remote team.
