About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Remote IT Helpdesk Support professional to join their fully remote IT department. This role is critical for providing essential technical support to employees across the organization, ensuring smooth IT operations and productivity. You will troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues, offering remote assistance and guidance. We are looking for individuals with strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a virtual setting, contributing to a robust and supportive remote work culture.

• Provide first-level IT helpdesk support to all employees remotely.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related software.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams when necessary.

• Proven experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, MS Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and remote support tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
