Remote Blockchain Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Blockchain Data Analyst to join their team, ideally based within or familiar with the Benoni region, but operating fully remotely. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data from blockchain networks to provide actionable insights. Your work will support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and uncover opportunities within the rapidly evolving Crypto & Blockchain landscape.

This role requires a strong aptitude for data manipulation and a deep understanding of blockchain technology.

• Extract, clean, and process data from various blockchain sources using specialized tools and queries.
• Analyze on-chain and off-chain data to identify market trends, user behavior, and network activity patterns.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and analytical approaches.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities based on data analysis within the Crypto & Blockchain ecosystem.
• Stay current with data analysis techniques and blockchain data sources.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on analyzing blockchain data .
• Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel).
• Familiarity with blockchain explorers and on-chain analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, tokenomics, and DeFi concepts.
• Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
