About the Role
Our client is building a next-generation financial technology platform and is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join their fully remote team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models and data-driven solutions that enhance user experience, optimize financial products, and drive business growth. - Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning algorithms and statistical models for prediction, classification, and anomaly detection.
- Design and execute data mining experiments to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
- Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems and ensure their performance.
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and best practices in remote collaboration.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on building and deploying machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
- Expertise in SQL and experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
