IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to join their team in Klerksdorp . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved participants throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a critical role to ensure the successful deployment of technology solutions that support business objectives.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed IT project plans , including timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
• Coordinate and manage internal IT teams and external vendors for project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement timely mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management regarding project status.
• Ensure successful deployment of IT solutions, including software, hardware, and network infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management .
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, software development, or system implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
