Information Security Analyst - Threat Intelligence

Our client is looking for an analytical and proactive Information Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to join their team, supporting operations near Mossel Bay . This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and reporting on current and emerging cyber threats that could impact the organization. You will leverage various data sources and intelligence feeds to provide actionable insights that enhance our defensive strategies and reduce risk.

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence from open-source, technical, and human intelligence sources.
• Develop and maintain threat actor profiles, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and malware analysis reports.
• Provide timely and actionable threat intelligence to security operations, incident response, and IT teams.
• Track and analyze emerging security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of defensive measures based on intelligence insights.
• Collaborate with external threat intelligence communities and industry peers.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in threat intelligence analysis or a related cybersecurity discipline.
• Strong understanding of global threat landscapes, geopolitical factors influencing cyber threats, and various intelligence disciplines.
• Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and incident response processes.
