About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven E-commerce Analyst to join their team, with the flexibility to work remotely. This role is critical for driving informed decision-making by analyzing e-commerce performance data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will be responsible for tracking key metrics, generating reports, and collaborating with various departments to optimize online sales, customer experience, and marketing effectiveness.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a passion for uncovering the 'why' behind e-commerce performance in Sandton .
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to website traffic, sales, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the e-commerce business.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to provide strategic recommendations for improving online sales, conversion rates, and customer retention.
- Conduct A/B testing analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of website changes, marketing campaigns, and promotional offers.

- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst , Business Analyst, or Data Analyst with a focus on e-commerce.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and metrics.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote capacity.
