Remote Helpdesk Technician

Our client is actively seeking a skilled and dependable Remote Helpdesk Technician to join their distributed IT team, supporting operations remotely from anywhere. This role is critical for providing essential technical support to internal users, ensuring the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide array of technical issues, ranging from hardware malfunctions to software glitches and network connectivity problems.

• Provide first-level technical support to users via remote access tools, phone, and email.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the IT systems.
• Document support activities, resolutions, and system configurations in the helpdesk ticketing system.
• Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and deployment of new equipment.

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Technician or in a similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common productivity software.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, adapted for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and troubleshoot effectively in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are highly desirable.
