Agile Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and certified Agile Project Manager to lead and facilitate agile processes for their software development teams. This role is vital for fostering an agile environment that promotes collaboration, continuous improvement, and efficient delivery of high-quality software products. As a fully remote team member, you will champion agile methodologies, removing impediments and empowering teams to achieve their sprint goals.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can inspire agility and drive successful project outcomes within a remote-first organizational structure.

• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor development teams on agile principles, practices, and values.
• Identify and remove impediments blocking the progress of the development team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear and well-prioritized product backlog.
• Track and report on team progress and performance using agile metrics and tools.
• Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment conducive to high performance and continuous improvement in a remote setting.

• Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is required.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills, particularly for remote teams.
• Experience with agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Confluence.
