Remote Senior Project Manager - Digital Transformation

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their fully remote team, focusing on driving significant digital transformation initiatives. This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a virtual environment and possesses a strong understanding of modern project management practices. You will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, planning, and executing projects that enhance our client's digital capabilities and customer experience.

Working remotely, you will collaborate with distributed teams across various time zones to deliver impactful solutions that align with the company's strategic vision, operating from anywhere within South Africa.

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for digital transformation projects, from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage scope, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project progress using collaboration tools .
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among geographically dispersed project teams, stakeholders, and vendors through virtual channels.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and achieve defined business objectives, contributing to enhanced digital presence.
• Conduct virtual project reviews and retrospectives to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in remote project delivery.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a significant portion dedicated to digital transformation or related technology projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fully remote setting , demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with project management software like Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Excellent remote communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a relevant field; PMP or Agile certification is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
