About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Sports Analytics Lead to spearhead their data analytics initiatives within the Leisure & Sports domain. This critical remote role involves defining the analytics strategy, building and leading a team of data scientists and analysts, and driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will be instrumental in leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to uncover insights that optimize player performance, fan engagement, and business operations.

• Define and execute the company's sports analytics strategy, setting a clear vision and roadmap.

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the sports or gaming industry.
• Extensive experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business strategies.
