About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Information Security Analyst with a focus on Threat Intelligence to join their security team in Benoni . You will be responsible for gathering intelligence from various sources, assessing its relevance and impact, and translating it into actionable security measures. • Provide timely and actionable intelligence reports to security operations, incident response, and management teams.
• Develop and tune security tools and processes based on threat intelligence insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, with a specific focus on threat intelligence or security operations.
• Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and various data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of malware analysis, network forensics, and cyber kill chain concepts.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data processing and automation is a plus.
