About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Remote Network Administrator to manage and maintain their network infrastructure from anywhere. • Monitor network performance, availability, and security using relevant tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues for remote users and internal systems.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on network-related matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HP).
• Proficiency in network security best practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
