Senior Helpdesk Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Helpdesk Engineer to join their remote IT team, supporting operations in the Kimberley region. This role is critical for providing advanced technical support, ensuring the stability and performance of our client's IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services.

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system problems, often requiring in-depth analysis.
• Develop and implement IT support procedures and best practices.
• Mentor and train junior helpdesk staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Manage and maintain IT systems, including servers, network devices, and user workstations.
• Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades and implementations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or systems administration role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, network protocols, and virtualization technologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
