Digital E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Digital E-commerce Analyst to join their fully remote team, working from anywhere, including Bloemfontein . You will be responsible for diving deep into e-commerce data to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize online performance. This role is critical in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing customer behavior, and identifying trends to enhance user experience and boost conversion rates.

As a key member of a data-driven organization, you will collaborate with various departments to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and informed strategy.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to website traffic, user behavior, sales, and marketing campaign performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce operations and marketing efforts.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data to pinpoint opportunities for improving conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize website elements, marketing campaigns, and user flows.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to provide data-driven recommendations and support strategic initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in web analytics, data visualization, and e-commerce best practices.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on digital marketing and e-commerce analytics.
• Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
