About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to manage and maintain their network systems from anywhere. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our client's digital infrastructure, supporting operations across multiple locations including Richards Bay. You will be responsible for network design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting, working independently and collaborating with IT teams globally.

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols and policies to protect data integrity.
• Develop and document network configurations, standards, and procedures.
• Provide remote technical support to end-users and other IT staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and network security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable for this remote position.
