About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Remote Network Administrator to manage and maintain their robust IT infrastructure from anywhere. This critical role involves overseeing the network's performance, security, and availability, ensuring seamless connectivity for all users and systems. As a fully remote position, you will have the autonomy to manage network operations efficiently, collaborating with teams virtually to implement upgrades and resolve complex technical challenges.

- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components.
- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against threats.
- Perform regular network backups and ensure disaster recovery capabilities are in place.
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users regarding network issues.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar network engineering role.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and security best practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network problems remotely.
