E-commerce Platform Specialist; Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Specialist to join their operations team on a fully remote basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless performance, optimization, and continuous improvement of our client's online store. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing new features and enhancements to improve customer experience and drive sales.

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the e-commerce platform, ensuring uptime and optimal performance.
• Implement and manage website updates, including new product launches, content changes, and promotional setups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the website, payment gateways, and integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams to test and deploy new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Analyze user behavior and website data to identify areas for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience (UX) improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the platform, including product information, pricing, and inventory levels.

• Proven experience managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as they relate to e-commerce sites.
• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote capacity.
